Serums are often designed for different areas of the face and should be applied after cleansing but before moisturising.

Don‘t even think about putting your makeup on until you‘ve followed Clare’s top tips for great looking skin:

1. Cleanse

2. Second cleanse – use a muslin cloth with a cleanser or exfoliater

3. Blot the face dry, then spritz lightly with water to help the skin absorb moisture.

4. Apply eye cream on the eye socket (the bone under your eye), not on your eyelids.

5. Apply lip cream around the lip to smooth lines and wrinkles.

6. Apply serum to face and neck.

7. Apply moisturiser to face and neck.

8. Apply primer, then wait a few minutes before starting to apply your makeup.
